Getaway Packages Frequently Asked Questions Is there a charge for parking? Is there handicap parking? (Back to top) Parking is available for cars, vans, RVs, buses and motorcoaches. Parking is free at all theatres. For handicap parking, notify one of the traffic personnel about entering the parking area and they will direct you to the appropriate area. Are the theatres located near public transportation?(Back to top) There is no means of public transportation that directly serves the theatres.What is your policy for ticket cancellations, refunds, or reservation changes?(Back to top) You can read these policies by clicking here. How do I choose the best seats?(Back to top) All of the seats in each Sight & Sound theatre offer a great view of the action on stage. Your personal preference can help you determine the best seats for you. In our 2000+ seat theatres, you will get a “big picture” panoramic view of the stages and the actors from the raised seats in the back half of the theatre. Floor level seating in the front half of the theatre, offers a chance to be closer to the action as it happens around and in front of you. With 72 surround-sound speakers located throughout the theatre, action taking place in the aisles, and sets up to 40’ high, there is no “bad” seat. In the original Living Waters Theatre, all 600+ seats are on the same level and all offer a great view of the production. When you order tickets, seats are assigned on a “best seat available” basis unless you specify your preferences. Will my hotel package materials be mailed?(Back to top) Generally, your hotel confirmation will be mailed to you if your package is processed by Sight & Sound 21 days prior to your first Sight & Sound performance. Otherwise, your hotel confirmation will be held at the box office of your first show, along with your show tickets. You do not need to pick up the packet before checking into the hotel. How will I know my package is confirmed?(Back to top) You will receive an email confirmation from Sight & Sound Theatres within two business days (Mon-Fri) of placing your order. Your package is not confirmed until you receive this confirmation. The message will itemize your order. It indicates your Sight & Sound confirmation number as well as your hotel confirmation number. What happens if I do not receive a confirmation?(Back to top) If more than two business days have passed since you placed your order, you may either email us at getaway@sight-sound.com, or call our agents at (800) 377-1277. If you have a spam blocker installed on your computer, please be sure that Sight & Sound’s domain name (@sight-sound.com) is added as an approved sender. How far in advance should I reserve?(Back to top) Many of our shows, especially Fridays and Saturdays sell out months in advance. Can I book a group for any of the packages?(Back to top) The Getaway packages are only available for parties of 1 to 14. If you have a larger party, you may place separate orders. May I purchase a Getaway Package as a gift for someone?(Back to top) Because everyone’s schedule is different, we recommend purchasing a Sight & Sound Gift Card redeemable for the cost of the package that you would like to give as a gift. This way, the recipient can make reservations for their preferred dates. Can Gift Cards be used to pay for packages?(Back to top) Yes. There is an area in the payment section where a Sight & Sound Theatres Gift Card number can be entered as payment for the package. If the card does not cover the entire amount of the Getaway package, a credit card (Discover, VISA, MasterCard or American Express) is required for the balance. If the package cost is less than the amount of the gift card, the difference will remain as a balance on the card for other Sight & Sound purchases. Back |
